My name is Rocky.

Eu sou uma pequena pedra que vive nas profundezas da Terra. Todos os dias são iguais para mim.

I am a small stone who lives deep inside the Earth. Every day is the same for me.

Eu fico ao lado dos meus amigos - outras rochas e pedras.

I sit next to my friends - other rocks and stones.

Nós não nos movemos muito.

We do not move much.

Apenas observamos a lava quente fluir ao nosso lado. Mas hoje é diferente!

We just watch the hot lava flow by us. But today is different!

Três criaturas estranhas caem lá de cima.

Three strange creatures fall down from above.

Elas não são rochas como nós.

They are not rocks like us.

Eles têm braços e pernas.

They have arms and legs.

Eles podem andar e falar!

They can walk and talk!

"Olá,"

"Hello,"

Quero dizer.

I want to say.

Mas as rochas não podem falar com essas criaturas.

But rocks cannot speak to these creatures.

Os três visitantes olham ao redor com olhos arregalados.

The three visitors look around with big eyes.

Um é velho de cabelos brancos.

One is old with white hair.

Um é jovem e assustado.

One is young and scared.

Uma pessoa é forte e corajosa.

One is strong and brave.

Eles passam por mim e meus amigos pedras.

They walk past me and my rock friends.

Eles veem nosso mundo subterrâneo.

They see our underground world.

Há grandes cavernas.

There are big caves.

Há rios quentes de fogo.

There are hot rivers of fire.

Há plantas estranhas que brilham no escuro.

There are strange plants that glow in the dark.

Os visitantes encontram cogumelos gigantes tão grandes quanto árvores.

The visitors find giant mushrooms as big as trees.

Eles veem peixes nadando em lagos subterrâneos.

They see fish swimming in underground lakes.

Eles encontram animais que não vivem na superfície da Terra. Como eu gostaria de poder segui-los!

They meet animals that do not live on top of the Earth. I wish I could follow them!

Mas eu sou apenas uma pequena pedra.

But I am just a small rock.

Eu não consigo me mover.

I cannot move.

Os três visitantes ficam por muitos dias.

The three visitors stay for many days.

Eles exploram o nosso mundo secreto.

They explore our secret world.

Eles fazem desenhos.

They draw pictures.

Eles escrevem anotações.

They write notes.

Eles estão muito animados.

They are very excited.

Então, um dia, eles encontram uma maneira de voltar para cima.

Then one day, they find a way to go back up.

Uma grande explosão de água quente os projeta para cima, para cima, para cima até o seu mundo lá em cima.

A big explosion of hot water shoots them up, up, up to their world above.

Fico triste ao vê-los partir.

I am sad to see them go.

Agora estou sozinho novamente com meus amigos de pedra.

Now I am alone again with my rock friends.

Mas também estou feliz.

But I am happy too.

Pela primeira vez, criaturas de cima sabem sobre nós.

For the first time, creatures from above know about us.

Eles sabem sobre o nosso belo mundo subterrâneo.

They know about our beautiful underground world.

Talvez mais visitantes venham algum dia.

Maybe more visitors will come someday.

Talvez eles também sejam meus amigos.

Maybe they will be my friends too.

Até então, esperarei aqui no centro da Terra, sonhando com aventuras.

Until then, I will wait here in the center of the Earth, dreaming of adventures.
