Smoke filled the room.

When the smoke went away, a strange man stood in front of me. The man wore blue pants and a white shirt.

No one in our kingdom wore such clothes.

He had short hair and white shoes that looked very odd.

"I am Merlin the wizard."

El hombre se rió.

The man laughed.

"Wizards are not real."

"This must be a dream."

Estaba enojado.

I was angry.

"Not real?"

"Watch this!"

Hice aparecer una flor de la nada.

I made a flower appear from nothing.

El hombre no se sorprendió.

The man was not surprised.

Sacó una pequeña caja negra de su bolsillo.

He took a small black box from his pocket.

Presionó un botón.

He pushed a button.

Light came from the box!

Then he showed me pictures of his family on the box.

The man, named Tom, stayed with us.

He showed King Arthur and the knights many wonderful things.

He made fire without matches.

Conocía sobre medicina que podía sanar a las personas rápidamente.

He knew about medicine that could heal people quickly.

Pero Tom extrañaba su hogar.

But Tom missed his home.

Quería regresar a 2024. Me sentí triste por mi nuevo amigo.

He wanted to go back to 2024. I felt sad for my new friend.

Así que hice mi hechizo mágico más poderoso.

So I made my strongest magic spell.

Mezclé polvo de plata con lágrimas de dragón.

I mixed silver dust with dragon tears.

Pronuncié las palabras mágicas.

I said the magic words.

Tom disappeared.

I hope he made it home safely.
