But I see something special about Two-Eyes.

She helps small animals.

She sings pretty songs when she works.

Um dia, uma velha mulher vem ao jardim.

One day, an old woman comes to the garden.

Ela é realmente uma fada!

She is really a fairy!

Ela dá palavras mágicas a Dois-Olhos.

She gives Two-Eyes magic words.

Quando Dois-Olhos diz as palavras, uma bela árvore cresce.

When Two-Eyes says the words, a beautiful tree grows.

A árvore tem maçãs douradas!

The tree has golden apples!

As irmãs querem as maçãs douradas.

The sisters want the golden apples.

Mas as maçãs só vêm às mãos de Dois-Olhos.

But the apples only come to Two-Eyes' hands.

When the sisters try to pick them, the apples fly away.

He sees the golden tree.

He meets Two-Eyes.

She is beautiful inside and outside.

He loves her kind heart.

The prince takes Two-Eyes to his castle.

Eles se casam.

They get married.

Ela se torna uma princesa.

She becomes a princess.

As irmãs malvadas choram.

The mean sisters cry.

Agora elas se arrependem.

They are sorry now.

Mas é tarde demais.

But it is too late.

Do meu lugar na parede, observo Dois-Olhos em sua nova casa.

From my place on the wall, I watch Two-Eyes in her new home.

Ela está feliz.

She is happy.

Ela ainda canta.

She still sings.

Ela ainda ajuda animais.

She still helps animals.

Às vezes o normal é a coisa mais especial de todas.
