On a cold, rainy streetcar ride, Mira watches a driver shiver as he reaches out to wipe his window bare-handed. She goes home and invents a simple rubber arm that does the job from inside the cab, but no one in the industry believes her.
One winter, a young woman named Mira visited a big city far from home.
