Pies znalazł duży kawałek mięsa.

A dog found a big piece of meat.

Był bardzo szczęśliwy.

He was very happy.

Wziął mięso w pysk i zaczął iść do domu.

He picked up the meat with his mouth and started to walk home.

W drodze do domu pies musiał przejść przez mały most nad rzeką.

On his way home, the dog had to cross a small bridge over a river.

Kiedy spojrzał w dół na wodę, zobaczył innego psa.

When he looked down into the water, he saw another dog.

This other dog also had a piece of meat in his mouth.

Pies pomyślał:

The dog thought,

"That dog's meat looks bigger than mine!"

"I want that meat too!"

Pies otworzył pysk, żeby zaszczekać na drugiego psa w wodzie.

The dog opened his mouth to bark at the other dog in the water.

When he opened his mouth, his piece of meat fell into the river and was gone.
