O Segredo da Boneca Branca

Emma morava numa casa pequena com a sua avó.

Emma lived in a small house with her grandmother.

Todas as noites, a vovó contava histórias assustadoras para Emma antes de dormir.

Every night, Grandma told Emma scary stories before bed.

One cold October night, Grandma sat on Emma's bed.

"Tonight I will tell you about the Boogeyman," she said.

Her voice was soft and mysterious.

"The Boogeyman is very tall and very thin.

He has long black fingers and red eyes.

He comes at night when children are sleeping.

Emma puxou o cobertor até o nariz.

The Boogeyman carries a beautiful white doll.

This doll has golden hair and a pretty blue dress.

She looks like a real little girl.

The Boogeyman puts this doll in children's rooms while they sleep."
