"You are, my queen."

Isso a deixa feliz.

This makes her happy.

Mas hoje é diferente.

But today is different.

Hoje, devo dizer a verdade.

Today, I must tell the truth.

Há uma jovem chamada Branca de Neve.

There is a young girl named Snow White.

Ela é mais bela que a rainha agora.

She is more beautiful than the queen now.

A rainha faz sua pergunta.

The queen asks her question.

Respiro fundo.

I take a deep breath.

"Tu és bela, minha rainha."

"You are beautiful, my queen."

"Mas Branca de Neve é a mais bela de todas."

"But Snow White is the most beautiful of all."

O rosto da rainha fica vermelho.

The queen's face becomes red.

Ela está muito zangada.

She is very angry.

Ela me atira um sapato.

She throws a shoe at me.

Acerta no meu rosto de vidro.

It hits my glass face.

Agora tenho uma rachadura.

Now I have a crack.

"Essa menina deve ir embora!"

"That girl must go away!"

grita a rainha.

the queen shouts.

She calls her hunter.

"Take Snow White to the forest."

"She cannot come back."

I watch the hunter take Snow White away.

I feel sad.

The girl is kind and good.

She does not deserve this.

Later, the queen comes back.

She asks her question again.

I look at her angry face.
