Um homem foi comprar um burro.

A man went to buy a donkey.

O vendedor disse que o burro era muito bom e trabalhava arduamente.

The seller said the donkey was very good and worked hard.

"I watched who he chose as friends,"

disse o homem.

said the man.

"Ele escolheu os burros mais preguiçosos."

"He picked the laziest donkeys."

Um burro que escolhe amigos preguiçosos também será preguiçoso.

"A donkey who chooses lazy friends will be lazy too."

O homem partiu sem o burro.

The man left without the donkey.
