I just dig holes and think bad thoughts.

Yesterday, a worm said hello to me.

J'ai été méchant avec le ver.

I was mean to the worm.

Pourquoi ?

Why?

Parce qu'être méchant me donne l'impression d'être fort.

Because being mean makes me feel strong.

Quand je suis gentil, je me sens faible.

When I am nice, I feel weak.

Alors je choisis d'être méchant.

So I choose to be mean.

J'avais l'habitude de vivre à la surface.

I used to live above ground.

J'avais des amis.

I had friends.

Mais je disais toujours ce qu'il ne fallait pas.

But I always said the wrong things.

J'attristais les gens.

I made people sad.

Alors je suis descendu ici pour me cacher.

So I came down here to hide.

Parfois j'entends des enfants jouer au-dessus de moi.

Sometimes I hear children playing above me.

Ils rient et courent.

They laugh and run.

Cela me rend encore plus en colère.

This makes me more angry.

Why are they happy when I am not?
