Una giovane astronoma scopre qualcosa di insolito nel cielo notturno che cambia tutto quello che pensava di sapere sull'universo. La sua scoperta la conduce in un viaggio inaspettato che metterà alla prova il suo coraggio e le sue convinzioni.
C'era un uomo che amava studiare le stelle.
There was a man who loved to study the stars.
Ogni notte, camminava fuori con gli occhi rivolti verso il cielo.
Every night, he walked outside with his eyes looking up at the sky.
Guardò la luna e le stelle luminose.
He watched the moon and the bright stars.
Voleva imparare tutto su di loro.
He wanted to learn everything about them.
L'uomo camminava per la sua città ogni sera.
The man walked around his town every evening.
Non guardava mai per terra.
He never looked down at the ground.
Guardò soltanto il bellissimo cielo notturno.
He only looked up at the beautiful night sky.
Le stelle erano così interessanti per lui.
The stars were so interesting to him.
Una notte, l'uomo stava camminando e guardando in alto come al solito.
One night, the man was walking and looking up as usual.
Stava pensando alle stelle e alla luna.
He was thinking about the stars and the moon.
Era così occupato a guardare il cielo che non vedeva dove stava andando.
He was so busy watching the sky that he did not see where he was going.
Improvvisamente, l'uomo cadde in una profonda buca nel terreno.
Suddenly, the man fell into a deep hole in the ground.
Non riusciva a uscire.
He could not get out.
Chiese aiuto.
He called for help.
Una persona lo sentì chiamare e venne ad aiutarlo.
A person heard him calling and came to help.
"Perché sei caduto in questo buco?"
"Why did you fall into this hole?"
la persona ha chiesto.
the person asked.
"Stavo guardando le stelle,"
"I was looking at the stars,"
l'uomo disse.
the man said.
La persona rise.
The person laughed.
"Passi così tanto tempo a guardare cose lontane nel cielo."
"You spend so much time looking at things far away in the sky."
"Ma non riesci a vedere le cose semplici qui proprio a terra vicino ai tuoi piedi."
"But you cannot see the simple things right here on the ground near your feet."
L'uomo ha imparato che è bene sognare in grande, ma deve anche prestare attenzione al mondo che lo circonda.
