The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Un joven llamado Huckleberry Finn escapa de su vida difícil y viaja por el río Mississippi en una balsa. En el camino, conoce nuevos amigos y enfrenta muchas aventuras emocionantes que cambian su manera de ver el mundo.
My name is River.
I am the Mississippi River.
I have many stories to tell you.
One day, a boy named Huck came to me.
He was running away from his mean father.
Huck was scared and alone.
"Help me, River,"
said Huck.
"I need to go far away."
I gave Huck a small boat.
He sailed on my water day and night.
Then Huck found a man named Jim.
Jim was also running away.
Jim wanted to be free.
Some bad people said Jim was their property.
But Jim was a good man with a kind heart.
"We can travel together,"
said Huck to Jim. Jim smiled.
"That sounds good, young Huck."
I carried their boat for many days.
During the day, they hid on small islands.
At night, they sailed on my water under the stars.
Huck and Jim became best friends.
They shared food.
They told stories.
They laughed together.
"Jim is my friend,"
Huck said to me one night.
"I will help him be free."
I was happy to hear this.
All people should be free.
Bad men chased them.
I made big waves to stop the bad men.
I hid Huck and Jim in my deep, dark water.
Finally, they reached a safe place.
Jim became a free man.
Huck learned that friendship is more important than old, bad rules.
"Thank you, River,"
said Huck.
"You taught me to be brave."
I still flow today.
I remember Huck and Jim.
Their friendship was beautiful like my sunrise.
