The Golden Goose
Un joven bondadoso ayuda a un extraño hambriento en el bosque y recibe como recompensa una oca dorada mágica. Su nueva compañera lo lleva a una aventura inesperada que trae risas y sorpresas a todos los que conoce.
Mi nombre es Goldie.
My name is Goldie.
Soy una oca.
I am a goose.
Pero no soy un ganso normal.
But I am not a normal goose.
¡Estoy hecho de oro!
I am made of gold!
Un día, un niño bondadoso me encontró en el bosque.
One day, a kind boy found me in the forest.
Fue muy amable con un anciano.
He was very nice to an old man.
El anciano me regaló al muchacho.
The old man gave me to the boy as a gift.
¡Vaya!
"Wow!"
dijo el niño.
said the boy.
"¡Un ganso dorado!"
"A golden goose!"
Me levantó.
He picked me up.

His hands stuck to me!

He could not let go!
Caminamos juntos hacia el pueblo.
We walked to town together.
El niño trató de apartar sus manos, pero se quedaron sobre mí. Una niña nos vio.
The boy tried to pull his hands away, but they stayed on me. A girl saw us.
Se rió del chico.
She laughed at the boy.
"¡Te ves ridículo!"
"You look silly!"
dijo ella.
she said.
Ella tocó la espalda del niño.
She touched the boy's back.
¡Oh no!

¡Ahora ella también estaba atrapada!
Now she was stuck too!
Entonces llegó su hermana.

She never smiled.
