La Mentira de Plástico del Gigante

Érase una vez un gigante llamado Exxon.

Once upon a time, there lived a giant named Exxon.

Este gigante era muy grande y muy rico.

This giant was very big and very rich.

Producía petróleo y gas para que la gente los usara en sus autos y hogares.

He made oil and gas for people to use in their cars and homes.

Pero Exxon tenía un gran problema.

But Exxon had a big problem.

Cuando la gente usaba su petróleo y gas, fabricaba muchas bolsas y botellas de plástico.

When people used his oil and gas, they made lots of plastic bags and bottles.

Estas cosas de plástico no desaparecieron.

These plastic things did not go away.

They stayed on the Earth forever.

They made the oceans dirty.

They hurt fish and birds.

People started to get angry.
