Il mio nome è Spindle.

My name is Spindle.

Io sono una ruota che fila magica.

I am a magic spinning wheel.

Per molti anni, ho vissuto in una torre buia.

For many years, I lived in a dark tower.

Ero solo.

I was lonely.

Nessuno è venuto a trovarmi. Un giorno, una bellissima principessa è entrata nella mia stanza.

No one came to visit me. One day, a beautiful princess walked into my room.

Aveva lunghi capelli dorati e un grazioso vestito blu.

She had long golden hair and a pretty blue dress.

"Che cosa sei?"

"What are you?"

mi ha chiesto. Ero così felice!

she asked me. I was so happy!

Finalmente, qualcuno voleva parlare con me!

Finally, someone wanted to talk to me!

"I am a spinning wheel,"

I said.

"Touch my needle."

"Ti mostrerò la magia."

"I will show you magic."

La principessa toccò il mio ago affilato.

The princess touched my sharp needle.

Ouch!

Una goccia di sangue uscì dal suo dito.

A drop of blood came from her finger.

"Oh no!"

"Oh no!"

Ho detto.

I said.

"Ora dormirai per 100 anni!"

"Now you will sleep for 100 years!"

Mi sono sentito molto male.

I felt very bad.

Non volevo farle del male.

I did not want to hurt her.

Volevo solo un amico.

I just wanted a friend.

The princess fell down.

She was sleeping, but she was still breathing.

I watched her sleep for many days.

I felt so sorry.

Then one day, a prince came to the tower.

He was very handsome.

"Wake up, princess!"

The princess opened her eyes.

Then she looked at me.

Ora sono felice.

Now I am happy.

The prince and princess visit me every week.

We drink tea and talk about many things.

I am not lonely anymore.
