A wolf and a fox were walking together.

They started to argue about who was more important.

"I am stronger than you,"
disse il lupo.
said the wolf.

"But I am smarter than you,"
disse la volpe.
said the fox.
Hanno litigato sempre più forte.
They argued louder and louder.

Neither one would stop.
Una scimmia era seduta su un albero.
An ape was sitting in a tree.

He heard them fighting.
"Puoi aiutarci,"
"You can help us,"
disse il lupo alla scimmia.
said the wolf to the ape.

"Tell us who is better."

The ape looked down at them.

"I will tell you what I think,"

The wolf and fox waited to hear his answer.

"Wolf, you are not as good as you think you are,"

"And fox, you are not as clever as you think you are."

The wolf and fox became quiet.

They walked away feeling foolish.

The ape watched them go.
