The Three Lazy Ones
Un re deve scegliere chi erediterà il suo regno, così decide di darlo al più pigro dei suoi tre figli. Ma scoprire chi sia veramente il più pigro si rivela più difficile del previsto.

The king was very old.

All three sons were very, very lazy.
Il re disse,
The king said,

"I will give my kingdom to the laziest son."
Il primo figlio disse,
The first son said,

"Yesterday, rain fell on my face for two hours."
Non mi sono mosso.
"I did not move."

"I did not want to turn my head."
Il secondo figlio disse,
The second son said,

"No, I am lazier!"
La settimana scorsa, avevo così tanta fame.
"Last week, I was so hungry."

"There was bread next to my bed."
Ma non volevo raggiungerlo.
"But I did not want to reach for it."

"I stayed hungry for three days."
