The goat looked down and saw a big wolf walking below.

The little goat laughed at the wolf.

"You cannot catch me!"

he called out.

"Estoy demasiado alto aquí arriba."

"I am too high up here."

"¡Eres demasiado lento y estúpido!"

"You are too slow and stupid!"

El lobo levantó la mirada hacia la cabra.

The wolf looked up at the goat.

Sonrió y dijo,

He smiled and said,

"Cabrita, crees que eres muy valiente."

"Little goat, you think you are very brave."

"Pero no eres tú quien es valiente."

"But it is not you who is brave."

"Es la roca alta la que te mantiene a salvo."

"It is the high rock that makes you safe."

"Si estuvieras aquí abajo conmigo, no dirías tales cosas."

"If you were down here with me, you would not say such things."

El cabrito se quedó callado.

The young goat became quiet.

Sabía que el lobo tenía razón.

He knew the wolf was right.

El lugar donde te encuentras puede hacerte sentir valiente, pero eso no te hace verdaderamente valiente.

The place where you stand can make you feel brave, but that does not make you truly brave.
