"Let's put a bell around the cat's neck."

Wenn sich die Katze bewegt, wird die Glocke läuten.

"When the cat moves, the bell will ring."

Wir werden es kommen hören und weglaufen.

"We will hear it coming and run away."

Alle Mäuse fanden, dass dies eine wunderbare Idee war.

All the mice thought this was a wonderful idea.

They were very happy and excited.

Then a very old mouse stood up.
