She remembered all the stories, songs, and wisdom of the people.

Everyone came to her when they forgot something important.

Anansi watched the old woman every day.

He saw how people loved and respected her.

He became jealous.

Anansi took the pot and ran away.

Anansi said happily.

"I will be the most important person in the village."

Pero la olla era muy pesada.

But the pot was very heavy.

Anansi decidió esconderla en la copa de un árbol alto.

Anansi decided to hide it at the top of a tall tree.

Se ató la vasija al vientre y comenzó a trepar.

He tied the pot to his belly and started to climb.

The pot kept hitting the tree.

Climbing was very difficult.

Un niño pequeño pasó por allí y vio a Anansi luchando.

A small boy walked by and saw Anansi struggling.

"Tío Anansi,"

"Uncle Anansi,"

the boy said,

He learned that sharing knowledge made everyone stronger and wiser.

And that is why today, no one person knows everything.

We all have different knowledge, and we must share it with others.
