He wanted to hide the pot at the top where no one could find it.

He tied the pot to his belly with rope.

Anansi comenzó a trepar el árbol.

Anansi started to climb the tree.

Pero la olla era grande y pesada.

But the pot was big and heavy.

Siguió golpeando el árbol.

It kept hitting the tree.

Anansi no podía trepar bien con la olla en su vientre.

Anansi could not climb well with the pot on his belly.

El hijo pequeño de Anansi estaba observando desde abajo.

Anansi's young son was watching from below.

The boy called up to his father.

"Papa, why don't you tie the pot to your back?"

"Then you can climb better!"
