Uma andorinha sábia percebe algo perigoso que os outros pássaros não conseguem ver. Quando a andorinha tenta avisá-los, os outros pássaros precisam decidir se vão escutar ou ignorar o conselho.
Um fazendeiro plantou sementes em seu campo.
A farmer planted seeds in his field.
As sementes cresceriam e se tornariam plantas que produzem corda.
The seeds would grow into plants that make rope.
Uma andorinha sábia viu o fazendeiro plantando.
A wise swallow saw the farmer planting.
Ela voou até os outros pássaros.
She flew to the other birds.
"Escutem-me,"
"Listen to me,"
disse a andorinha.
said the swallow.
"Isto é perigoso."
"This is dangerous."
"O fazendeiro está plantando sementes."
"The farmer is planting seeds."
Essas plantas farão cordas resistentes.
"These plants will make strong rope."
As pessoas usarão a corda para fazer redes.
"People will use the rope to make nets."
Eles nos capturarão com essas redes.
"They will catch us with these nets."
Os outros pássaros riram da andorinha.
The other birds laughed at the swallow.
