The fox and the goat

The fox and the goat

This simple fable tells the story of two animals who meet at a well on a hot day. One is already in trouble, while the other is very thirsty. What happens when they meet shows us an important lesson about thinking carefully before we act. This short tale by Aesop teaches us why we should not be too quick to trust others, especially when they might have their own plans in mind.
