O menino não queria soltar as nozes.

The boy did not want to let go of the nuts.

Mas finalmente, ele deixou cair metade delas.

But finally, he dropped half of them.

Sua mão ficou menor.

His hand became smaller.

Agora ele conseguia tirar a mão do frasco.

Now he could pull his hand out of the jar.

O menino estava livre.

The boy was free.

Ele ainda tinha algumas nozes para comer.

He still had some nuts to eat.
