But his hand was too big to come out of the jar.

The boy tried to pull his hand out.

Es gelang ihm nicht.

He could not do it.

Seine Hand war festgeklemmt.

His hand was stuck.

Der Junge fing an zu weinen.

The boy started to cry.

Er wollte die Nüsse, aber er wollte auch seine Hand frei haben.

He wanted the nuts, but he also wanted his hand free.

Ein alter Mann ging vorbei.

An old man walked by.

He saw the boy crying.

"Was ist los?"

Der Junge wollte die Nüsse nicht loslassen.

Doch schließlich ließ er die Hälfte davon fallen.

But finally, he dropped half of them.

Seine Hand wurde kleiner.

His hand became smaller.

Nun konnte er seine Hand aus dem Glas ziehen.

Now he could pull his hand out of the jar.

The boy was free.
