A Raposa e o Corvo

Um corvo estava pousado numa árvore.

A crow sat in a tree.

Ela tinha um grande pedaço de queijo na boca.

She had a big piece of cheese in her mouth.

Uma raposa passou por ali.

A fox walked by.

Ele viu o corvo e o queijo.

He saw the crow and the cheese.

A raposa desejava muito o queijo.

The fox wanted the cheese very much.

"Olá, belo corvo!" disse a raposa.

"Hello, beautiful crow!" said the fox.

"Você é tão bonita!

"You are so pretty!

Suas penas negras são maravilhosas!" O corvo sentiu-se feliz.

Your black feathers are wonderful!" The crow felt happy.

Ela gostou das palavras gentis.

She liked the nice words.

"Eu acho que você também tem uma voz bonita", disse a raposa.

"I think you have a beautiful voice too," said the fox.

"Você pode cantar para mim?"

"Can you sing for me?

"Por favor, cante uma canção!" O corvo quis mostrar sua voz.

Please sing one song!" The crow wanted to show her voice.

Ela abriu a boca para cantar.

She opened her mouth to sing.

O queijo caiu de sua boca.

The cheese fell down from her mouth.
