O Lobo e o Cabrito
Uma criança pequena vivia com sua mãe cabra.
A young kid lived with his mother goat.
Um dia, a mãe cabra precisou ir ao mercado.
One day, the mother goat needed to go to the market.
"Preciso sair,"
"I must go out,"
disse a cabra mãe.
said the mother goat.
"Não abram a porta para ninguém."
"Do not open the door for anyone."
"Um lobo mau grande vive na floresta."
"A big bad wolf lives in the forest."
Ele quer te devorar.
"He wants to eat you."
"Terei cuidado, Mãe,"
"I will be careful, Mother,"
disse o cabritinho.
said the little kid.
A cabra mãe partiu.
The mother goat left.
Logo, alguém bateu à porta.
Soon, someone knocked on the door.
"Criancinha, abra a porta."
"Little kid, open the door."
"É a sua mãe,"
"It is your mother,"
disse uma voz profunda.
said a deep voice.
A criancinha olhou pela janela.
The little kid looked through the window.
Ele viu o lobo mau grande.
He saw the big bad wolf.
"Você não é minha mãe,"
"You are not my mother,"
disse a criança.
said the kid.
"Minha mãe tem uma voz suave."
"My mother has a soft voice."
"Sua voz é muito grave e áspera."
"Your voice is too deep and rough."
O lobo foi embora.
The wolf went away.
Ele bebeu mel para tornar sua voz suave.
He drank honey to make his voice soft.
Então ele voltou e bateu novamente.
Then he came back and knocked again.
"Criancinha, abra a porta."
"Little kid, open the door."
"É a sua mãe,"
"It is your mother,"
disse o lobo com voz suave.
said the wolf in a soft voice.
O cabrito ouviu a voz suave.
The little kid heard the soft voice.
Mas ele ainda estava cauteloso.
But he was still careful.
"Mostre-me o seu pé,"
"Show me your foot,"
disse a criança.
said the kid.
O lobo pôs sua pata negra por baixo da porta.
The wolf put his black paw under the door.
"Tu não és a minha mãe,"
"You are not my mother,"
disse a criança.
said the kid.
"Minha mãe tem pés brancos."
"My mother has white feet."
"Os teus pés são pretos."
"Your feet are black."
O lobo estava furioso.
The wolf was angry.
Ele foi ao padeiro e pôs farinha em suas patas para torná-las brancas.
He went to the baker and put flour on his paws to make them white.
Então ele voltou.
Then he came back.
"Criancinha, abra a porta."
"Little kid, open the door."
"É a sua mãe,"
"It is your mother,"
disse o lobo suavemente.
said the wolf softly.
"Mostre-me o seu pé,"
"Show me your foot,"
disse a criança.
said the kid.
O lobo mostrou sua pata branca.
The wolf showed his white paw.
O cabrito pensou que era sua mãe.
The little kid thought it was his mother.
Ele abriu a porta.
He opened the door.
O lobo grande saltou para dentro.
The big wolf jumped inside.
"Agora eu vou te devorar!"
"Now I will eat you!"
disse o lobo.
said the wolf.
Mas o cabrito esperto foi rápido.
But the clever little kid was fast.
Ele correu e se escondeu atrás do grande pote de água.
He ran and hid behind the big water pot.
Naquele momento, a cabra mãe chegou em casa.
Just then, the mother goat came home.
Ela viu o lobo e usou seus chifres fortes para afugentá-lo.
She saw the wolf and used her strong horns to chase him away.
"Sempre tenha cuidado,"
"Always be careful,"
disse a cabra mãe.
said the mother goat.
"Coisas ruins às vezes podem parecer boas."
"Bad things can look good sometimes."
