I have a story of someone to tell
A true tale it is though
I beseech you all to kindly listen to me
'Cause you'll be moved for sure I know !
On this earth life comes and goes
Everyone follows what the destiny shows
We are the mere dupes in the hands of fate
But there was someone who dared to override her fate !
In a countryside once upon a time
Was born a cute, baby girl
In a big family among the five brothers
She happened to be born the sole girl !
When she was in her mother's womb
Not even had taken her birth
Was conspired to be killed by brutal men
Unless her mom fought hard to let her see the light on earth.
Her mother's courage finally gave her birth
Whose braveness made her child see the light on earth
But none came forward to kiss the baby girl
None came to bless her even as she was a girl!
She did not have the right to live
Her infirmity being she was a girl
Cruel men thought she should die
The poor reason was just she was a girl!
As a child she was a trepid self
Diffident; shy and a quiet self
Quite unaware of the abilities in herself
Until one day she discovered herself!
She was bound to stay home all day long
Never was she sent to school
Her brothers had that privilege for them
But for her, that was the rule !!
She was made to do the household chores
That was her only goal in life
The girl was penalized for even what she never did
Alas ! How poor and cursed was her life!
Soon she felt a big threat in life
Reaching the age of ten
When one day her alcoholic father
Plotted to kill her, then !
She decided to run away from home
Taking her mom along
Decided to go far away from there
In order to live in peace somewhere!
Then began the life of mom and her
In a place where none could say
That she wasn't allowed to live her life
She thought to live the way !
She started her being afresh and new
Where she began to go to school
Her mom started to work a living for them
There began their life anew !
But soon she was quite mistaken to think
That her dusky days were gone
That she was far away from the sorrows of life
And that the struggle for life was gone !
She faced a new challenge in life
Fighting the outer world
Now she fought for the safety of themselves
Against a greater world !
Through the struggle of days and years passing by
Her spirits to live had risen high
She dreamt of being an accomplished woman
And one day she fell in love with a man !
She was soon betrayed in love
By the disloyal and dishonest man
Who showed her dreams of a wonderful life
But doomed her for another woman !
The wise girl which she truly was
Even after breaking down in pain
Never thought of ending her life for once
Throwing it all in vain !
She had an aim in life for sure
With age she grew up to be a transformed one
Went pursuing her studies on
When finally she became a lawyer woman !
She honoured every bit of her life
Being on this earth
Though she struggled in every step
Long since her birth !
The way she handled every fact
The moral she gathered through life
Fetched a great aid to her
To fight for justice for others in life.
